You can eventually exceed your mailbox quota, unless you connect to the e-mail server from another computer that has Outlook configured to remove messages from the e-mail server. If you do not select either check box, messages are left on the server indefinitely. I have removed Outlook 2019 and installed Outlook 365 and the problem. Both are repopulating their respective inboxes from messages that have been deleted and this is a constant loop. Just deleting the message doesn't remove the message from the e-mail server.
